Droppath 2.0 for Android: New Icon, Colors & Enhanced Route Management

We’re thrilled to announce Droppath 2.0 for Android, bringing a fresh new look and powerful new features that will enhance your route planning experience!

New Icon and Colors #

We have brought over the changes we made to the iOS app to the Android app. Those changes were very popular and we hope you like them too! The new icon and color scheme provide a more modern and cohesive look across all platforms.

Enhanced Route Management #

Route Duplication #

You can now create duplicate copies of routes by tapping on the … menu of any route row in the My Routes screen. This makes it easy to create variations of existing routes or reuse successful route templates.

Create Routes from Previous Destinations #

You can create routes by adding destinations from a previous route. This is great when you want to create a new route with just the failed destinations from a previous route, helping you efficiently handle missed deliveries or appointments.

Combined Destination Views #

The Destination List and Map screen have been combined for a more streamlined experience. To switch between the map and the list, simply use the icon at the top right. This unified view makes it easier to manage your destinations while maintaining full visibility of your route.

New Driving Mode #

There’s a new Start button that will launch the driving mode. In this mode, you will only see the road to the next destination, keeping you focused on the current task. When you mark destinations as Success or Failed, the map will automatically advance to the next destination.

You can swipe left or right to move between destinations, and swipe up on the destination card to see the details of that specific destination. This hands-free navigation is perfect for delivery drivers and field service technicians.

Maps Settings #

You can now pick from a list of 4 different map styles to suit your preferences:

• Standard: Classic map view with clear road layouts
• Satellite: Aerial imagery for better location context
• Light: Clean, minimal design for reduced visual clutter
• Traffic: Real-time traffic information overlay

Barcode Scanner Improvements #

We’ve made significant improvements to the barcode scanner - it should pick up more barcodes than before. We’ve also included helpful tips on how to get the best scanning results, making it easier to quickly add destinations by scanning package labels and delivery codes.

Getting the Update #

The update is now available on Google Play Store. Simply update your Droppath app to experience these exciting new features. If you have automatic updates enabled, you should receive the update shortly.
