Droppath 3.0 for Android: Introducing Accounts, Data Sync & Enhanced Barcode Support

We’re thrilled to announce Droppath 3.0 for Android, bringing three major features that will transform how you plan and share your routes!

Introducing Accounts (Optional) #

You can now create a Droppath account. These accounts are optional, but if you want to use the new sync feature – more on that below – then they are required.

Accounts work cross-platform between iOS and Android, but separate subscriptions are still required if you want to use both. We are going to change that soon.

Introducing Data Sync #

Any route you create in the Shared folder will be available to all devices connected with the same account. All data should sync instantly, making it ideal if you have a co-pilot and want to both work on the same route. You can also use this to plan your route on a different device than the one you use to drive.

This feature is perfect for delivery teams, field service crews, and anyone who needs to collaborate on route planning across multiple devices.

More Barcodes Supported #

In the last few releases, we’ve secretly added support for a few new barcode formats. Keep sending them to us if you encounter unsupported barcodes.

Our barcode scanning feature continues to evolve based on your feedback, making it easier than ever to quickly add destinations to your routes by simply scanning package labels, delivery codes, and other barcoded items.

Getting the Update #

The update is now available on Google Play Store. Simply update your Droppath app to experience these exciting new features. If you have automatic updates enabled, you should receive the update shortly.
